I really needed a quick, hassle-free way to make fanlisting codes/buttons on Linux Mint without dealing with Photoshop or the learning curve of GIMP. Since I couldn't find quite what I was looking for, I built ButtonCraft PHP—a simple fanlisting code generator! Check it out!

After years of relying on third-party software, I’ve officially swapped standard WordPress for my own custom-built platform on my Xena Central site! I built Lumora Press entirely from scratch out of personal need, but kept fellow fansite creators and hobbyists in mind every step of the way.
Lumora Press—a lightweight, self-hosted PHP blogging platform inspired by the elegance and simplicity of classic WordPress (think the 2012–2015 era!). It’s all about writing, publishing, and customizing with classic themes, widgets, and plugins. No block editors, no page builders, no AI bloat—just simple, fast blogging. Since it’s an independent codebase built entirely from scratch (not a fork), it runs super fast and stably on modern PHP and basic shared hosting.
On top of that classic WordPress goodness, I also added a few features to Lumora Press core that I’ve always wished WordPress had natively without needing a million plugins:

Virtual Folders in the Media Manager: Organize hundreds of icons, wallpapers, and photos by subject with ease.

Direct File Importing: Seamlessly import media straight from FTP.

FanUpdate Redux v2.5.1 Released

FanUpdate Redux is now available for download! I'm still actively working on refining it, but I feel at this point I'm ready to share it. I'm working on supporting >Enthusiast and perhaps Listing Admin - Fanatically is already supported.
This FanUpdate Redux release updates the codebase to PHP 8.2+ and includes a full admin UI redesign, Fanatically integtation and image uploads,
Features

Posts & categories — write entries, assign them to one or more categories, schedule future posts
Timezone-aware dates — pick your real IANA timezone (e.g. Europe/Helsinki) from a searchable, region-grouped dropdown in Admin → Options, instead of a fixed UTC-hour offset. Post, comment, and admin-dashboard dates automatically account for daylight saving time; upgrading from an older version migrates any existing offset to the closest matching timezone automatically.
TinyMCE post editor — a full self-hosted TinyMCE 7 editor (no CDN, no account) for the post body: headings, lists, tables, links, blockquotes, a Visual/HTML source toggle, fullscreen, special characters, and more. See Post editor below.
Image uploads & Media gallery — upload JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP images directly from the post editor toolbar, or pick a previously uploaded one from the built-in Choose Existing picker. Thumbnails are generated automatically (GD); clicking a thumbnail on the public blog opens the full-size image in a built-in lightbox. Uploads live in uploads/images/YYYY/MM/ with PHP execution blocked via .htaccess. Admin → Media lists every upload in a paginated gallery and lets you delete one.
Comments — threaded display, moderation queue, spam blacklist, optional CAPTCHA
Spam protection — four automatic layers stop bots before any database work; points-based scoring handles borderline human submissions
Gravatars — commenter avatars pulled from gravatar.com
Smilies — upload images and map them to text shortcuts
RSS feeds — per-blog and per-category feeds, with podcast enclosure support
Fully templated — entry, comment, comment form, and footer layouts are all editable from the admin panel without touching code
Archive pages — browse posts by month or by category
Full-text search
Collective script integration — works alongside Enthusiast 3, Fanatically or fully standalone
Keyboard accesskeys throughout the admin panel
Admin Update Manager — Admin → Updates checks GitHub for newer FanUpdate Redux releases (stable or prerelease channel, with optional automatic checks on a configurable interval) and shows a dismissible Dashboard notice when one is available. From the same page you can download the release, review a confirmation summary, and install it.
Opt-in anonymous install statistics — off by default. Enabled from Admin → Options → Privacy, this sends a small, anonymous ping (a randomly generated installation ID, the FanUpdate Redux version, and the PHP version — nothing else) roughly once every 30 days, so the maintainer can see a rough install count and which PHP versions are actually in use. See Privacy: Anonymous Install Statistics for exactly what is and isn't sent.

This post you're reading on right now, is powered FanUpdate Redux. I'm also using it at my Unloved Heart Collective, where it is in Fanatically integration mode. That let's post updates either to the collective, a fanlisting or both!

SiteSkin Redux v1.3.2

SiteSkin Redux v1.3.2
Download: https://github.com/intothisshadow/siteskin-redux/releases/tag/v1.3.2
Changed

Reverted blanket CSS class prefixing. A previous change had namespaced every class in the starter skin (wrapper, site-eyebrow, site-title, site-tagline, section-label, content-card, stats-row/stat/stat-num/stat-label, skin-credit) with a siteskin-redux- prefix. That's reverted — those classes belong to the starter skin's own design, not the engine, and skin authors should be free to name their own classes without the engine dictating a naming scheme.
Only the two classes the engine itself emits via showSkinsSelector() keep the prefix: siteskin-redux-skin and siteskin-redux-skin-thumb. These are documented in README.md.

Fixed

skins/1/style.css was left targeting the old unprefixed p.skin / img.skin selectors after the class-name revert, which no longer matched what the engine actually emits (p.siteskin-redux-skin / .siteskin-redux-skin-thumb) — silently breaking the skin selector's styling. Corrected the selectors to match the engine's real output.

Added

A dedicated siteskin-redux-skin-thumb CSS class on the thumbnail <img> elements rendered by the skin selector, alongside the wrapper's siteskin-redux-skin class. This lets skin authors target thumbnail/preview images specifically (e.g. for a fanlistings-style thumbnail grid) without also matching the wrapping <p class="siteskin-redux-skin">.

I've released v1.13.0
This release improves the update system, adds bulk image renaming, and further refines the administration experience.
✨ Highlights

Bulk Rename for images within an album, with live previews, filename templates, collision detection, and fully transactional renaming.
Smarter updates now download the official release ZIP (when available) instead of GitHub's raw source archive.
Automatic cleanup of obsolete core files during updates using a new file manifest system.
PhotoSwipe now leaves comfortable margins around large images instead of displaying them edge-to-edge.
Updates page now clearly distinguishes between automatic Update Backups and manual Full Backups.
Repository, homepage, and anonymous install ping URLs updated to match the new Lumora Gallery project locations.
